As a very engaged mama, who tends toward industrious, I am commonly on the move. My income-generating craftiness has been guided by flexible mediums and methods that I can drop at the call of a child, a meeting, a dinner, a hike or whatever is next. I rise early to stitch and work on my prints, I depend on those quiet hours alone in the morning to create and get ready for the day. I love to go to bed early to enjoy cuddling, talking, and reading with my children. |

My son & daughter enjoy their involvement in my efforts to sustain our little home and family. I obtain most of the materials for the one-of-a-kind pieces by salvaging and secondary markets: thrift stores, garage sales, and hand-me-downs. I’m delighted that my eight and twelve year olds are extremely resourceful and behold the extended use of materials!
The struggle for time is continual; I have ideas I itch to work out and materials I am anxious to use, when I do you’ll find them on the Custom Goods page. |
It is my hope that this site and the goods offered, will help raise the awareness that we can make this world a little better by making wise choices in our everyday activities. |

I am inspired by the political art and actions of others. The many challenges I feel in our culture motivate me to express my convictions. Each time I print, I work with a new gathering of materials, giving me new opportunities to explore color and texture. I feel enormous gratification in making my point by printing it over and over and over, by sewing them over and over and over & knowing that my enthusiasm and determination are entering the world over and over and over. My messages are uncomplicated; there is power in a simple message repeated. |
